About

Daniel Jordan is a writer of books, poems and other things. He's also me, immediately tired of talking about myself in the third person. I write stuff, and people say it's quite good, and they must be right because I am a writer of books, poems and other things so am clearly in no position to be bribing people.

I'm also a librarian, and have previously been a copywriter, editor and proofreader before I gave up using my powers for evil. I love dark and spooky stories that are steeped in folklore, poetry that breaks all the rules and burns with passion, and anyone who is willing to set the world alight for the sake of what they believe in. In work I'm a ruthless advocate for digital literacy, emotional intelligence and cultural cognition - if you come in my library you can be sure you're not leaving until you're a better person (I do not kidnap children).

This website is my virtual face! It has more words on it than my physical face!

If you really really wanna know more about me, I did the Proust Questionnaire again recently, but as is the nature of the thing, what I wrote there was only true in that moment, and may never be so again.

Don't @ me, basically.
